Profile: Ariel Astinus is a quick witted teacher. She had to be, as she was not one of those lucky enough to be teaching at a private school, or homeschooling. No, she taught at a full-blown public school, and had to sit through the best and the worst of the sludge of the human youth. Too proud to teach Primary school, she forced herself through the soulforge of High School for eight years. Eight years did she teach English under that horrendous condition. She became the one thing every student feared after her second year. A true English Teacher, in race as well as name.

Within her eighth year she had a lapse of judgment, and raped a pregnant student. The student happened to be the wife of a monster, and soon was visited at her home by said monster, who returned the favor with her multitudes of tentacles, leaving her a mess in a pile of disgusting liquids, her own and the monster's. She did not leave for school for the next week, so distraught and wounded by the event. Her legs had become useless for that week, and had taken time to heal.

However, that eight year also brought her a lucky break. A child who needed education but could not be trusted around other students and teachers. A trouble maker. She needed private tutoring, and they had found her. She gladly accepted, and brought the student in line rather easily, being what she was. She used her body as well as her mind to get the child to do as she wished. Yet, she made a bad turn with her employer, and had her soul sucked from her, and bound to a key. Now, forced to work there, Ariel is not truly upset, due to the Rogue library.

However, were she ever to get her soul back...

It should also be noted that she has a weakness not only to books, but to snacks as well. She is not a slender woman, but rather voluptuous. She pretends not to care about her added weight, but is in fact rather sensitive to it.
