General Rules

The Earth is a godless world, barren of the magic and wonders it once held. Though new gods have been born, and are slowly raising in power, all the gods of old have either all been destroyed or have turned a blind eye to the trials of the world. Because of this, there are times when the Earth itself will inhibit the magical energy that someone tries to channel. When preforming the arts during one of these times, one can expect heavy rates of failure, especially when around the human population that believes magic does not exist, for their disbelief is a damper all its own. And, if by some off chance one happens to succeed, they can probably expect the human population to rile up in a 'witch hunt' to burn or hang the offender, among any other number of punishments.
